I think it's absolutely vile that animals are still being slaughtered in their thousands for their fur. Especially when faux fur is not only better looking, softer and keeps longer, but it is cheaper. Hundreds of animals are being killed every day just for their fur, their dead carcasses being left to rot, and for what? So fucking designer labels have another dead coat to flash down a runway for 2 seconds.
Fair enough, in some countries, fur and the meat of the animal are the people's only means of survival, but they are not doing it for some crap fashion statement. I hardly think that people in fashion
But then again, most people today are either ignorant, aesthetically obsessed or both. As long as it looks good, it's not hurting anyone, right?
